Membership

The purpose of HNK is to promote preservation of North Kingstown’s history through the establishment of a collection of archives, and to promote education by sharing the stories behind these historical documents and artifacts. By collaborating with other groups, HNK celebrates North Kingstown’s past from its Indigenous beginnings through the development of the eight historical villages. Allenton, Davisville, Hamilton, Lafayette, Quidnessett, Saunderstown, Slocum, and Wickford bring their own unique contribution to the history of North Kingstown; and their stories need to be preserved and told. Historic North Kingstown is a non profit with 501c3 status.
